Parti hopes citizens find in our squares not a place to visit once, but a place to stay and grow together. Citizen membership is therefore one of Parti’s most important assets. The 1,133 monthly-supporting Partizens, the 187 gatherings and 18 projects they have autonomously created, and the 20+ badges and Civic Points system that visualize citizens’ activity trajectories — together they give life to Parti’s public squares.

Tools that let citizens stay and act as members of Parti’s squares.
1. CitizenPass

Parti’s digital citizen membership. Becoming a Partizen (recurring supporter) grants the CitizenPass, opening access to connection, collaboration, and growth opportunities across all of Parti’s squares. 1,133 members have already built 187 gatherings and 18 projects together.
2. Partizen Supporter Membership

Partizens — citizens who support Parti through regular contributions. Because Parti is a social cooperative owned and governed by its citizen members, Partizens are not mere supporters but co-owners of Parti’s public squares. A structure where Parti’s digital citizen square becomes the citizens’ own through the form of support.
3. Member-Initiated Gathering System
✅ Implemented
A system for diverse gatherings autonomously created by CitizenPass members. Not gatherings dictated by Parti — but 187 gatherings members themselves have proposed and run, across a wide range of topics and forms.
4. Member Collaboration Project Incubation
✅ Implemented
An incubation system through which Parti helps grow collaborative projects members run together. 18 projects are already underway, serving as a channel for citizen ideas to flow into real social change.
5. Member Toolkit & Resource Sharing
✅ Implemented
A package of tools and resources Parti provides to help members develop their own activities. Campaign operation tools, gathering facilitation guides, and digital civic capacity tools — all in one place.
6. Member Story Archive
✅ Implemented
An archive that records and shares members’ stories. A virtuous cycle where citizen stories built in Parti’s squares become inspiration and motivation for other citizens.
7. Activity Badge System
✅ Implemented
⭐ Parti Original
A badge system awarded to citizens who participate in campaigns, donations, memorials, data work, and democracy activities. With 20+ active badges, the system uses diverse forms — sequence badges (e.g., “10,000th Memory Keeper”), activity-volume badges (“10+ participation”, “100+ participation”), annual supporter badges, and specific campaign participation badges — to visualize citizens’ activity trajectories. Received badges can be displayed on profiles or shared on social media, letting citizens’ digital civic identity emerge naturally. External organizations (People’s Solidarity, Hansalim, Citizens for Saving the National Park, and more) can also issue their own badges, making Parti’s square a shared infrastructure for civic activity recognition.
8. Civic Points

A system accumulating Civic Points across diverse activities citizens do in Parti’s squares — voting, discussion, campaign participation, fact-checking, data contribution — and letting them be applied in various ways. Not mere gamification, but a new civic infrastructure that makes citizen activity visible and recognized.

9. Partizen Regular Gatherings

Regular offline and online gatherings of Partizens. Together we build pathways through which citizens grow — from simple members to civic activists, from civic activists to campaigners.
10. Campaigner Life Game

Parti’s workshop methodology where members experience the campaign-running process as a game. Members walk through a simulated campaign and directly experience the role of campaigners. (Covered in detail in Category 3, Citizen Campaigns.)

11. Citizen Membership Interoperability
⬜ Future Direction
Infrastructure connecting Parti’s membership with the memberships of other cooperatives, civic organizations, and platforms — so a citizen who belongs to multiple organizations can have an integrated civic experience. A citizen-membership ecosystem inside and outside Parti.
12. Citizen Token Economy · DAO Experiments
⬜ Future Direction
Experiments in structures where citizens themselves decide on rewards and governance for the activities they do in the public square. An area that becomes possible as Civic Points and the badge system develop further.
